The Oak Cliff Art Walk is an annual, community-driven exhibition that uplifts local artists by removing traditional gallery costs and barriers. There are no submission or exhibition fees, and artists retain 100% of any sales made during the event, handling transactions directly.


We welcome a wide range of mediums, perspectives, skill levels, and ages. The Art Walk is non–theme based and encourages artists to share work that reflects their unique voice and practice. As a public, community-centered exhibition, all work must be appropriate for audiences of all ages.

THE LOCATION

Join us at East Dock as we take over a historic 1915 warehouse — a unique opportunity to explore art in an unconventional setting full of character and history.

Originally built in 1915 as an ice house, East Dock later served as an airplane manufacturing facility and a book factory. After sitting vacant for over a decade, it's now being revitalized into a home for local businesses and organizations.

For two sweet days, we’ll transform the property into a vibrant art gallery and gathering space for local creatives, organizations, and vendors.

The Oak Cliff Art Walk is committed to lowering barriers to success in the arts by providing free exhibition space for artists. We create opportunities for visibility, connection, and collaboration between artists, organizations, and the broader community.

Cultural Infrastructure

We believe art can help people connect more deeply to the history, culture, and character of their neighborhood. By bringing together artists, local businesses, organizations, and residents, we hope to foster relationships that strengthen community and create a greater sense of belonging.

Community Engagement

We all need to touch grass a little more and get to know our neighbors! The Oak Cliff Art Walk exists to create opportunities for connection—between artists, community members, and local organizations, and businesses.

This event invites people to deepen their connection to Dallas by discovering the talent, creativity, and stories emerging from their own neighborhoods and supporting the artists and communities that make our city unique.
